These exquisite made by hand sweaters are truly a work of art. Each marl sweater is knitted with local wool and hand-dyed and then hand-framed by artisans supported by Manos del Uruguay, a non-profit organisation founded in 1968 to support women from rural areas in Uruguay.

Knitted to an easy to wear shape with set-back shoulders for a very relaxed and casual feel, then finished with a high chunky ribbed neckline. They are simply beautiful pieces  

Hand-framed wool. Hand-dyed yarn. High neck. Mid-hip length. Ribbed edges.

Made in Uruguay.
Soft yarns are liable to pill to some extent, even when using those of the best quality. To take good care of them remove any pills using a pilling comb and protect them from sharp items or jewellery that may catch or snag.
